Insulated Concrete Forms

Insulated Concrete Forms are interlocking, lightweight expanded polystyrene forms. These forms take the place of your standard wood framing, the forms remain in position after the concrete is poured.

Information on I.C.F. (insulated concrete forms)

Energy efficiency - insulated concrete walls can provide thermal performance values of an R-50 or better

Fire Rating - insulated concrete walls provide a 3-4 hour fire rating

Sound Values - the I.C.F. walls have a sound rating between 40 - 50 S.T.C. (sound transmission class)

Shear Walls - exceeds minimum requirements

Water Proofing - self adhering water proof membrane for ease of installation

Heating & Cooling - can be designed smaller due to the high performance of the insulated concrete wall

Design Diversification - allows more freedom and design due to structural qualities

Basement Applications - a convenient and economical way to construct and insulate a basement
